Ingredients

  • 1 each Api Mix
    bag
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
    approximately, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
    or more, to taste

Directions

Half fill a large pot of cold water. Put the cinnamon and cloves in the cold water and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, mix all of the Api mix in a large bowl in ice-cold water until Api is dissolved and watery. Make sure it is a very thin texture. Once the water in the pot boils, add ~1/2 cup very cold water and bring back to a boil. Slowly pour and mix in the Api water into the pot and bring to a boil, mixing constantly. Add in sugar to taste until sweet. Once it comes to a boil, boil without mixing for ~6-7 minutes. Add juice from one lemon little by little, tasting as you go until the lemon brings out the flavor. Add sugar if needed as well.
